They say it couldn't be done, but after it's 1st year, C-Y-N-T has established itself as the best weekly dance night in Cardiff.
C-Y-N-T opened its doors at the start of 2007 and the turnout was an instant success proving that there was a demand for such a night.
For too long, Cardiff lacked a regular event where people could enjoy house music during the week. Now we attract hundreds of people each week hungry for their dose of dance music and not reside themselves to commerical chain nightclubs where everyone goes...'cos everyone goes!
At C-Y-N-T, music styles change over the night, from techno, to nu rave electronica, from dubstep to breakbeat making the dancefloor dangerous territory if you don't like lots of screaming and jumping! After a series of venue shifts, C-Y-N-T is now settled where it belongs at Cardiff’s oldest and last independent, The Welsh Club /Clwb Ifor Bach. A raw original interior with brick walls over 3 floors, the club sets itself apart from anywhere else to showcase underground music…not to a finely tweaked system regarded by those who care as the best in town. Across the 08/09 year we'll now be bringing you a big name Guest DJ on a monthly basis, across different genres.
We love getting you geared up for the next party, whether it's 1000 people raving in the park or a sunset boat party round the bay, C-Y-N-T is up for it!
We also lead the way in regular road-trip events outside of Cardiff to other major clubnights and festivals across the UK. If you wanna stay in the loop, C-Y-N-T will keep you posted...
